Pharmacist Leader Position in Meath

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to take on leadership responsibilities and lead the delivery of pharmacy services.

  1. Manage the dispensary, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and pharmacy guidelines.
  2. Exercise professional judgment and expertise in all aspects of law, ethics, and codes of practice.
  3. Provide a high-quality dispensing service, prioritizing customer safety and satisfaction.
  4. Develop effective strategies for the safe and efficient delivery of medicines.
  5. Build relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and other pharmacists.
  6. Oversee monthly submissions to regulatory bodies and proactively address rejected claims.
  7. Identify opportunities for business growth, such as partnering with nursing homes and institutions.
  8. Perform additional duties as required by the role.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume dispensing operations efficiently.

This is a part-time, permanent position based in Dunboyne, Meath. The hourly rate is competitive, and further opportunities exist for support pharmacists with different hours and pay rates.
