About the Job
As a Construction Equipment Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our road planer fleet. You will be responsible for operating machinery efficiently and safely, performing routine maintenance on the equipment, and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites. You will also be required to follow designated routes to plane out roads and construction sites, maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area and equipment, and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Operating road planer machinery efficiently and safely
- Performing routine maintenance on the equipment
- Following designated routes to plane out roads and construction sites
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the work area and equipment
- Reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor
