Job Description:

Our team is seeking a skilled Back End Developer to join us in designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot, and AWS-based infrastructure. They should be comfortable working across modern stacks and be ready to contribute to our pragmatic and friendly engineering team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, build, and ship quality features. They will also have a strong career path within a fast-scaling fintech company where they can gain hands-on experience and sharpen their skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a back end engineer (Java, Kotlin, or both)
  • Solid knowledge of Spring Boot and related ecosystem
  • Good understanding of SQL and Spring-based persistence (JPA/Hibernate, Spring Data, etc.)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Familiarity with AWS (hands-on with at least a few services: e.g., Lambda, S3, ECS, RDS, Terraform a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

This role reports to the Staff Engineer and collaborates with the Head of Engineering, Product, and Data teams to drive growth projects.
