Protecting data and empowering innovation is a critical aspect of our cloud security strategy. As a senior cloud security engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions across multiple cloud providers.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in cloud security, with subject matter expertise in securing infrastructure at scale in an enterprise environment. They should be familiar with IAM and data protection in cloud environments, as well as scripting languages like Python and/or orchestration tools like Tines.

The successful candidate will be able to perform security reviews of architectures and products, identify gaps and weaknesses, and recommend controls to address them. They will also have experience helping to craft and deliver policies to drive the organization's security posture forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP with a focus on IAM, preventative controls, and resource permissions
  • Drive enterprise cloud strategy to empower business growth while protecting critical assets and data
  • Design and implement security solutions to address gaps in the organization's cloud security posture
  • Automate deployment and maintenance of security solutions and tooling using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Python
  • Conduct security assessments on cloud services, identifying misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and potential risks
  • Partner with detection engineering and incident response teams to create new alerting and investigation capabilities
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of cloud security experience
  • Subject matter expertise in securing infrastructure at scale in an enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of IAM and data protection in cloud environments
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python and/or orchestration tools like Tines
Nice to Haves:
  • Kubernetes and container security experience
  • Experience with security incident response in cloud environments
  • Cloud Provider Certifications
