Animal Care Specialist Opportunity

This is an exciting role for a dedicated Animal Care Specialist to join our hospital team. The position offers variety and flexibility, with the opportunity to shape your caseload to suit your interests and experience.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional patient care through consultations, medical workups, routine surgery, and inpatient care
  • Tailoring case load to suit individual interests (internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, etc.)

  • Full funding provided for further studies – certificates, diplomas, or PhDs

We also provide 24-hour emergency cover, ensuring continuity of care when it's needed most.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is registered (or eligible to register) with the relevant authority by October 2025
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and thorough case workups
  • Can work independently, but also thrive in a collaborative hospital setting
