Drug Product Development Specialist

We seek a seasoned professional to drive drug product development and manufacturing in our Technical Operations team.
BioMarin is a global biotech company that pursues groundbreaking science to translate genetic discoveries into new medicines.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise on drug product, supporting filling operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing process comparisons and managing technical and manufacturing risks
- Authoring technical reports to support process characterisation
- Managing change control, deviations, and CAPAs through the quality management system
- Investigating deviations, conducting root cause analysis, and providing technical assessments
- Leading process improvement projects involving cross-functional teams
Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to new product introductions and tech transfer projects by collaborating with project teams and ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build strong partnerships and work effectively with diverse team members.
