At National Rehabilitation University Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Assistant to join our team. As an active member of the Interdisciplinary Team, you will provide support and assistance in delivering an effective Radiology Service within the rehabilitation programme.

The post holder will work independently under the direction and supervision of the Radiographers and report to the Radiography Services Manager (RSM). The ideal candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 qualification or comparable relevant equivalent qualification of at least level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland (QQI), specifically Health Care Assistant.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Hold a QQI Level 5 qualification or comparable relevant equivalent qualification of at least level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland (QQI), specifically Health Care Assistant.
  • Previous experience as a Radiography Assistant in a hospital or work within the rehabilitation environment.
  • Evidence of experience working with patients in a Health or Caring Service.
