This role involves working as part of a team to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting in the community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred support, promoting independence, and encouraging participation in community activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing support to individuals in all areas of their lives, including personal care, domestic tasks, and social activities.
- Assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Facilitating community integration through outings and social events.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues.
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in the healthcare sector.
