At Amazon, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Analyst to join our expanding team. As a key member of our Compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the rapid growth of our payments business while maintaining rigorous regulatory compliance.
The Compliance Risk Analyst will work closely with various departments, including legal, operations, product, risk management, marketing, and finance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing Customer Due Diligence Checks
- Validating seller documents and information
- Highlighting any exceptions, resolving and documenting results
- Ensuring findings are recorded and escalating areas of concern to management for resolution
- Reporting back to business functions on compliance performance
- Assisting with implementation of regulatory changes into business operations in a timely manner
- Assisting in gathering internal information in response to regulatory requests
- Providing support and AML subject matter expertise to investigations/operational staff to understand AML requirements
We require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Science, Compliance, or Economics. Previous experience in AML/Compliance is preferred, along with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. An AML-related certification is also advantageous.
