This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected Irish firm's Investment Funds team based in Dublin.
- We are seeking an experienced Investment Funds Lawyer with expertise in investment fund law and transactional experience in banking or corporate law, who is looking to take on a new challenge in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the intricacies of investment funds, including investment fund regulation, asset management, offshore funds, fundraising, public M&A, and private M&A. They should be well-versed in drafting and reviewing agreements, conducting due diligence, and providing advice to clients on various investment fund matters. Additionally, they should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
- The successful candidate will work closely with our highly experienced partners and senior lawyers to advise on a wide range of investment fund-related matters, including structuring and establishment of investment funds, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations. They will also contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex problems and provide strategic guidance to clients on investment fund-related issues. As part of our dynamic team, the successful candidate will be given opportunities to develop their skills, build relationships, and contribute to business growth.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified as a lawyer (solicitor or barrister) with at least 2 years PQE in investment fund law or a related field;
- Strong technical knowledge of investment fund laws and regulations, including EU directives and Irish legislation;
- Experience in transactional law, particularly in banking or corporate law;
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools for document drafting and review;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly;
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex information.
