Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate caregiver to join our dedicated care team in Cork, Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality holistic care to our residents.

This role involves supporting nursing staff in providing individualized care plans for residents, focusing on maintaining their dignity and quality of life. You will also assist residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, including personal care and mobility support.
  • Participate in the assessment and implementation of end-of-life care plans, providing emotional support and care to residents and their families.
  • Engage with residents through activities and conversations, fostering a sense of community and social interaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive resident care.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in healthcare (QQI Level 5 or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a care setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring attitude.
  • Good level of English language proficiency.
  • Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends.
