We are seeking a skilled Construction Professional to lead our site-based setting out efforts in Cavan. This exciting opportunity allows the selected candidate to utilize their expertise in setting out and construction methods, while maintaining high safety standards and promoting environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain defect-free work and meet project deadlines.
  • Set out detailed works based on contract drawings, conducting regular checks.
  • Establish accurate level and survey control for contracts.
  • Implement value engineering opportunities where possible.
  • Keep accurate records, including site diaries, allocation sheets, and compliance documentation.
  • Address technical challenges that may arise unexpectedly.
  • Develop procurement schedules, liaising with the procurement team to secure necessary resources.
  • Promote best practices across all site operations.
  • Establish a safe working culture and enforce high safety standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with procedures and legal requirements.
  • Uphold environmental compliance across all activities.
  • Drive customer focus throughout the organization.
  • Champion EHS awareness among teams.
Requirements:
  • Min. Third-level qualification in Construction/Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Min. 2-3 years site-based setting out experience.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, Environmental and legal regulations.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Temporary work co-ordination a benefit.
  • MS project experience.
  • Safe Pass/SMSTS/MSIC card holder.
