Regulatory Affairs Manager

Robert Walters Ireland is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their Risk and Compliance team. This key role will be responsible for ensuring our client's adherence to data protection laws and regulations, handling complaints efficiently, and maintaining ISO certification standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory affairs, data protection, and quality management systems, with experience in managing complaint processes and overseeing ISO certifications.

This manager will be integral to the day-to-day operations of our client's Risk and Compliance team, conducting regular data protection impact assessments, acting as the primary point of contact for all data protection queries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing complaint processes, overseeing ISO certifications, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular data protection impact assessments and audits to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for data protection queries and issues, both internally and externally, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Ensure data subjects' rights are upheld, including managing subject access requests and data breach responses in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements within the real estate sector, staying up-to-date with changes in the regulatory environment.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on regulatory compliance and data protection, promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Manage the complaints handling process, ensuring complaints are addressed promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of ISO 9001 and other relevant ISO certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance and excellence in quality management.
