Health and Safety Leader

This challenging opportunity seeks an experienced Senior EHS Advisor to take on a key leadership role in the construction sector, driving health and safety excellence across multiple projects.

About the Job:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and collaborating closely with project managers to integrate health and safety into project planning, execution and scheduling.
  • They will have a strong understanding of Irish health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To drive health and safety excellence across multiple projects.
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • To collaborate with project managers.
  • To conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • To lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
  • To prepare and present health and safety reports.
  • To mentor and coach junior health and safety personnel.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Professional certification in health and safety is essential.
  • Significant experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
