Medical Equipment Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Technician to join our team at Flexsource. As a key member of our healthcare support staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our Central Decontamination Unit (CDU).
About the Role:
- Work collaboratively with the CDU Manager and Deputy Supervisor to maintain patient and staff safety and welfare.
- Deliver high-quality safe patient care through adherence to National Hygiene and Decontamination Standards.
- Act as a mentor to new staff members and participate in monthly audits.
- Utilize Microsoft Office skills to manage documentation and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A relevant QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Services Skills or Healthcare Support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Central Decontamination Unit (CDU) processes.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
