Job Description

We are seeking a skilled architect to lead our team in developing innovative solutions for the life sciences industry. In this role, you will provide leadership of the technical discipline and direct the day-to-day operational activities of assigned staff members. You will also work independently on various projects as assigned by business needs. Additionally, you may oversee the entire design process or assist as a technical expert on specialized designs.

  • Assist in developing proposals to communicate the approach to projects and highlight expertise in planning and designing facilities for the life science industry.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and maintain qualifications, project portfolios, and other marketing materials specific to your area of expertise.
  • Demonstrate the ability and interest to develop conceptual ideas to present to clients during proposal presentations through client interactions and/or interviewing end-users.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 10 years of architectural design experience in the designated specialty.
  • 8+ years of life sciences industry experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university or college; registered architect (RA) and AIA/NAAB/NCARB membership/accreditation is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading conceptual design efforts.
  • Ability to interpret building programs and generate varied design concepts.
