We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Gardening Product Coordinator to join our Buying Team. In this role, you will work closely with the Retail Lead Buyer to manage the gardening category, drive sales growth, and improve profitability.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience in Agriculture or Retail, preferably in a purchasing or business administration role, is highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities:- Category Management:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the gardening market, including trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
- Create and manage promotional calendars to drive sales and profitability.
- Work with suppliers to source high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations.
- Sales and Profitability:
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and profitability, including expanding product offerings and improving supply chain efficiency.
- Work with the Retail Lead Buyer to set sales targets and monitor progress towards achieving them.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the Garden Horticulture team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with Marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with business objectives.
