Civil Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our team for an exciting position in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about creating innovative and sustainable design solutions for high-profile projects.

  • Key responsibilities include undertaking detailed civil engineering design for a range of projects, producing technical drawings, reports, and specifications using industry-standard software, conducting feasibility studies and site investigations, ensuring all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety guidelines, liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, assisting with project management, and providing technical support and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Proven experience in a civil design role, preferably within a consultancy environment, is essential.
  • Strong technical proficiency with civil design software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D, is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of Irish design standards and regulations is also required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to design are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
  • Progress towards or a desire to achieve Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
