Job Description

You'll be part of our Supply Chain Services team, transforming the Global Strategic Sourcing Group. As a Contract Management Consultant, your primary focus will be on developing and managing contracts with suppliers, ensuring robust legal and commercial terms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing supplier requests for contract changes and assessing potential risks.
  • Ensuring contract documents comply with established Verizon formats.
  • Coordinating with business partners, legal teams, and suppliers to negotiate contract issues.
  • Working with sourcing specialists to prepare contract templates and resolve contractual issues.

In addition to these responsibilities, you'll also be expected to:

  • Ensure contract compliance, including standard language and policy requirements.
  • Manage supplier dispute resolution and escalate complex issues to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Law (LLB or BCL) or equivalent.
  • Telecom network or IT experience.
  • Experience in contract management or sourcing positions.
  • Negotiation and issue resolution skills.
  • Project management experience.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or equivalent.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certification.
