Job Opportunity:

Teaching Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join our team as a resource teacher in a developmental education centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with complex needs, working closely with families and other professionals to deliver high-quality educational services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide one-on-one support and instruction to students with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure seamless integration of home and school environments.
Requirements
  • Hold a teaching degree recognised by the Department of Education and Skills.
  • Be registered on the Teaching Council or be eligible to apply to be registered.
  • Have previous experience of working with children with complex needs.
  • Be a highly motivated individual with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Have ability to work effectively with families and wider multidisciplinary teams.
