Job Description

The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the GES construction safety strategy across the project lifecycle, particularly the Behavior-Based Safety program Safe by Choice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing construction and commissioning quality HSE plans
  • Reviewing project-specific work permits and Safe Plan of Action (SPA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and/or Task Risk Assessments (TRA)
  • Supporting the GES project manager during all phases of the project regarding safety performance (leading and lagging indicators)

Additional responsibilities include coaching and supporting EPCMsafety professionals with GES practices and procedures, rolling out and implementing the safety incentive plan, participating in EHSE checklist reviews, tracking safety statistics, monitoring and evaluating EPCM safety performance against project plan, establishing relationships with clients and local GSE teams, and leading incident investigations.
