Academic Tutors Wanted

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic tutors to contribute to our diverse range of courses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing teaching materials, submitting a scheme of work and lesson plan before commencement, monitoring learner progress, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to all module learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

• Plan and prepare teaching materials relevant to the course.
• Submit a scheme of work and lesson plan before the course starts.
• Monitor and mentor learners' work and progress.
• Manage the learning environment effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports.
• Meet a range of learner educational needs in their teaching.
• Have a duty of care to learners.
• Maintain learner interest and involvement in the course.
• Always maintain confidentiality.

We offer a wide range of courses including arts and crafts, cookery and baking, health and well-being, dance and strength exercises, technology and digital skills, business and professional development, other languages and culture, community development governance & compliance, Irish language spoken, Irish music, song, dance, instruments, environment field outings – foraging etc, gardening (preparation for seasoning & pruning), produce – growing your own and preserving, environmental & climate change protection, exercise - hand eye coordination skills, tennis, golf, pitch & putt, table tennis, built environment heritage, woodcrafts, furniture restoration, antiques – care, repair and identification, art appreciation, lumra, weaving & spinning.
