Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative environmental sustainability specialist to design, develop, and optimize environmentally sustainable processes and systems in the region.

  • Develop and improve processes to reduce waste, emissions, and energy consumption.
  • Design systems for water treatment, air quality control, waste management, and pollution mitigation.
  • Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict system performance and environmental impact.
  • Evaluate compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Prepare documentation for environmental audits and permits.
  • Lead and manage environmental projects from initial design to implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sustainability goals.
  • Analyze environmental data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering or environmental compliance roles.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in process design tools and environmental modeling software.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
