Your Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain data semantic layers that provide a unified view of the organisation's data, enabling consistent and meaningful access to data assets
* Design and implement complex data models for big data systems, including data lakes and warehouses, to support advanced analytics and machine learning
* Utilize Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft tools to implement data solutions, leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other relevant services
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and data scientists, to understand requirements and deliver data solutions

Requirements:
* Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Extensive experience as a Data Architect with a specialisation in Data Semantic Layers, Big Data Models, and Microsoft platforms
* Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics
* Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data integration
