Job Title: Supply Chain Visionary - Delivering Excellence in Demand Fulfilment

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in supply chain management, demand fulfilment, and logistics. With at least 15 years of experience in the retail industry, they will have a deep understanding of the complexities of global sourcing, ocean freight, warehousing, and distribution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing demand fulfilment strategies that align with the company's commercial priorities. They will lead a diverse team across the end-to-end fulfilment function, including ocean freight management, inbound supply planning, warehousing, and logistics.

Key responsibilities will include delivering value to the business by leveraging demand fulfilment strategies, cross-functional collaboration, technology, and supplier relationships. The candidate will also be responsible for building strong cross-functional relationships with Heads of Demand Management, Buying, and Store Operations to ensure seamless alignment of supply with commercial priorities.

Additionally, the Supply Chain Visionary will be responsible for driving digital transformation and automation across fulfilment operations, introducing data-led decision-making, and improving visibility across the supply chain. They will also manage ocean freight optimisation, 3PLs, and carrier SLAs, oversee container flow plans from origin to destination, and ensure inbound plans align to demand forecast and inbound targets.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results. They will be a strategic thinker, able to integrate various information sources and translate company strategy into divisional strategy and results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive approach to change and innovation, will be essential in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 15 years of experience in supply chain management, demand fulfilment, or logistics within the retail industry
  • Proven experience in transforming supply chain, fulfilment, or logistics functions within a fast-moving, high-volume, SKU complex environment
  • Experience with fulfilment digital technology, warehouse management systems (WMS), transport management systems (TMS), and e-commerce platforms
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to integrate various information sources and translate company strategy into divisional strategy and results
  • Proactive approach to change and innovation
