About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist at the newly developed low secure mental health service. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Managing a caseload and conducting assessments
  • Developing and implementing treatment programs
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
  • Promoting recovery-oriented occupational therapy practice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree or masters in occupational therapy from a recognized institution
  • Registration with CORU or pending registration
  • Post-qualification experience working in forensic mental health services
  • At least three years' experience as an occupational therapist in adult mental health services
  • Experience in developing and running therapeutic services and programs
