Senior Oracle Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL development, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in large-scale, high-volume enterprise environments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL solutions for large-scale enterprise databases.
  • Migrate existing reference data functionality into modernized, strategic platforms.
  • Build and enhance tools that reduce time-to-market for onboarding new data feeds—including solutions for data quality monitoring, reconciliation, and automated testing.
  • Extend core reference data platforms with features that improve data quality, analytics, and operational insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, and QA Engineers to define and implement robust solutions.
  • Contribute to software design, story refinement, and architecture discussions.
  • Provide third-level application support as needed to ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Analyze business and data requirements to inform solution design and data modeling decisions.
  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices in Oracle development and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience in large-scale, high-volume enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and advanced stored procedures.
  • Proven experience with Oracle database features and tools for handling complex data transformation and reporting logic.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data modeling and reference data management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with global stakeholders.
