About the Position:
  • Take a leadership role in developing the baseline contract programme, covering all aspects of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Identify areas of improvement and prepare a construction (target) programme to enhance project outcomes.
  • Streamline tender event processes by coordinating the procurement of subcontractors, ensuring design release and lead-in activities are well-managed.
  • Maintain accurate records of electronic files and administration of planning and programme documents, utilizing the CDE.
  • Develop tracking schedules as needed to ensure effective management of programmes by subcontractors.
  • Provide regular status updates to project leads on the current programme position for all projects you are working on.
Essential Skills:
  • Relevant degree or diploma in a field such as construction management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a scheduler in a construction environment.
  • Desirable pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Qualifications in construction management or relevant certifications.
  • Certification for the use of planning and programme software, preferably Primavera P6 schedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders on live construction projects.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 schedule, progress analysis, Scurve reporting, cost management, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with JCT and NEC forms of contract.
  • Presentation techniques training and basic BIM training are also valuable.
