Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Ireland and the United Kingdom

Pfizer, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for multiple locations. The successful candidate will ensure quality of products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies
  • Conduct quality investigations and root cause analysis for deviations, non-conformances, and CAPAs
  • Review and approve batch records, logbooks, and other quality documents
  • Manage change controls, deviations, and CAPAs in a timely manner
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and assist with inspection readiness activities
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Provide training on quality-related topics to staff and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field with 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical quality operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough understanding of GMP and other relevant regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems in pharmaceutical industry
