We are seeking a talented CPU Design Verification Engineer to bolster our team with their expertise in microprocessor architecture and verification.
Job Description:
As a CPU Design Verification Engineer, you will collaborate with CPU and SoC architects to comprehend system-level concepts and translate high-level requirements into actionable verification goals. You will create comprehensive test and coverage plans derived from architectural and micro-architectural specifications. Additionally, you will design scalable and portable verification methodologies applicable across various simulation and emulation environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CPU and SoC architects to comprehend system-level concepts
- Create comprehensive test and coverage plans
- Design scalable and portable verification methodologies
- Build and maintain a robust verification environment
Expertise in microprocessor architecture and verification is essential for this role. A deep understanding of functions like cache coherence, memory ordering, consistency, prefetching, branch prediction, renaming, speculative execution, and address translation/memory management is required. Hands-on experience with Random Instruction Sequencing (RIS) for validating design correctness at both block/unit and subsystem/chip levels is also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven leadership in CPU verification
- Skilled in advanced verification techniques
- Proficient in developing test plans and reusable verification environments
