Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Portfolio Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of European Corporates, with a focus on credit approval and overall portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in credit risk management, with a solid understanding of product suites including loan and derivative products. They will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify emerging risk trends and devise action plans for mitigation.

The Senior Credit Portfolio Manager will work closely with senior colleagues to support the portfolio and contribute to regulatory deliverables. They will be responsible for building and maintaining legal entity and portfolio-level reporting routines, as well as providing feedback to Enterprise Credit on new client/transaction screenings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a portfolio of European Corporates, with a focus on credit approval and overall portfolio performance.
  2. Review credit proposals, new transactions, and sanction exposure/limits for portfolio clients within appropriate risk parameters.
  3. Provide feedback to Enterprise Credit on new client/transaction screenings.
  4. Identify and monitor top-down emerging risk trends within the portfolio and devise action plans for mitigation.
  5. Build and maintain portfolio-level reporting routines which cover key movements in portfolio sensitivities, exposure changes, and credit rating migrations.
  6. Contribute to regulatory deliverables and other ad-hoc legal entity tasks which require credit risk input.

Requirements
  • Experience in credit risk management, with a solid understanding of product suites including loan and derivative products.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify emerging risk trends and devise action plans for mitigation.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, with a grasp of highly detailed structures.
  • Highly motivated individual with a passion for continued learning.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software for presentations.
