Senior Auditor Role

We are seeking a senior auditor to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.

The role focuses on providing high-quality audit services to our diverse client base.

  • Preparation and completion of client audit files and financial statements (from start to finish) to a high professional standard, within budget and time deadlines, both internal and statutory.
  • Drafting financial reports as required by client assignment.
  • Training junior staff in all technical aspects of accounts preparation and auditing, whilst leading them on client assignments.
  • Identifying areas of non-compliance with auditing and accounting standards, and bringing these to the attention of the engagement manager.
  • Some travel at certain times may be required, including overnight stays.

The position will attract additional duties depending on the type of client assignment, but will always be of a professional accounting or auditing nature.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience, a passion for auditing, and a desire to progress their career in a dynamic audit firm. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1-2 years post-qualification experience in auditing Irish companies.
  • Relevant degree and an ACA, ACCA, or other accounting qualification.
  • Business acumen and insight to be an effective business advisor to clients.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
