As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high standards of service and care are maintained.

About the Role
This supervisory position requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities and critical decision-making. You will be responsible for mentoring, coaching and supervising a team of care workers, ensuring they provide caring and compassionate support to service users. Your duties will include working closely with the area Care Manager to implement policies and procedures, conducting regular spot checks, deputising for the Care Manager when requested and completing supervision with staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of care workers, providing guidance, support and development opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the area Care Manager to ensure the effective implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular spot checks to monitor the quality of care and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Deputise for the Care Manager as required, taking on additional responsibilities and making decisions in their absence.
  • Complete supervision with staff, providing feedback and supporting their professional development.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in social studies or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years' managerial experience within a similar social care setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, service users and families.
  • Ability to work independently, making decisions and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
