Project Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the management and execution of complex projects from concept through to completion.

The successful candidate will operate in a Client Representative capacity, contributing to high-performance project delivery of various initiatives in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of selected projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure all deliverables meet client specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Utilize systems to track and monitor project progress, ensuring full compliance across the project team.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, including the negotiation of contracts and agreements where required.
  • Oversee financial elements of each project, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant legislation, codes, and standards, particularly health and safety regulations.
  • Establish structures to monitor, review, and control budgeted or agreed expenditures.
  • Implement cost and value control procedures and ensure accurate, timely production of all required commercial reports.
  • Prepare and issue monthly progress reports for senior management.
  • Promote and maintain productive, collaborative partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Level 8) in Engineering/Construction/Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience on mission-critical projects.
  • Strong knowledge across all engineering disciplines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work and meet project deadlines within budget.
