This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial part in a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. We are looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We conduct regular internal audits to ensure the highest standards of care and follow up on results to implement improvements.
  • You will be responsible for the induction of new staff members, as well as ongoing training and development to enhance their skills.
  • We encourage innovative practice and creativity in all aspects of our work.
  • You will be expected to ensure that all Company and HIQA standards, procedures and guidelines are implemented and adhered to.
  • Regular communication meetings with clinical staff are essential to maintain effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Liaising with external community agencies is also a key aspect of this role, bringing the local community into our Home and maximizing opportunities to increase our profile.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be involved in:

  • Implementing fire training and evacuation plans to ensure the safety of our residents and staff.
  • Maintaining the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Home.
  • Participating in the selection and interviewing of staff to ensure we have the best people on board.
  • Clinical practice must meet Regulations & Standards at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Qualified Nurse with at least 3 years Management experience in care of the older person.
  • A Post registration management qualification in health or a related field.
  • A proven track record in healthcare clinical management.
  • Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
  • Sound decision making ability and results driven.
  • The ability to work well and promote a team environment.
