Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Reliability Engineering Leader to join our Cloud Services Delivery team. This role is crucial to driving cloud infrastructure projects and application delivery in a highly scalable, secure, and reliable environment.

This position will lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud-native applications, leveraging advanced technologies and best practices in cloud computing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting, designing, and implementing scalable, resilient cloud-native applications using AWS and containerization tools (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Leading the deployment and orchestration of microservices in cloud environments, ensuring scalability and high availability
  • Managing and automating infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Collaborating closely with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on public cloud environments (AWS)
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture
  • Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes, including the orchestration of containers in production environments
