Senior Insurance Lawyer Position

A reputable law firm in Ireland is seeking an Insurance Solicitor to fill a key position. This role involves advising clients on insurance-related disputes, regulatory matters, and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing expert advice on insurance-related disputes, regulatory matters, and transactions
- Representing clients with the Central Bank of Ireland – Insurance Department
- Negotiating M&A, portfolio transfers, structured reinsurance or similar transactional work
- Managing complex litigation and regulatory investigations, including High Court proceedings
- Drafting and reviewing insurance-related agreements and regulatory submissions
- A qualified solicitor with 2-3 years' post-qualification experience in Ireland
- Previous experience in insurance litigation, preferably gained in a top-tier or specialist firm
- Strong technical skills and excellent commercial awareness
- Comprehensive knowledge of Solvency II regulations
- Ability to manage cases independently while working as part of a collaborative team
