Senior Culinary Director

The Hodson Bay Hotel is seeking a dynamic Executive Head Chef to lead our award-winning culinary operations. Our hotel features a waterfront bar and brasserie, as well as an L'Escale Restaurant offering fine dining experiences with local produce.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication and organisation skills, and the ability to train new and existing staff. They will also have a deep understanding of culinary development and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities include establishing and implementing standards of performance within the food production areas, achieving agreed catering budgets, and recruiting employees with the right skills and qualifications.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages the team to take pride in their work. You will also be expected to attend meetings, appraise and assess employees, ensure adherence to hygiene and HACCP regulations, and contribute to the development of training manuals.
