Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee civil engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, within scope, and within budget.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications to guarantee alignment with client needs.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to guarantee seamless project execution.
  • Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress and verify adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Solve technical problems that emerge during the construction process.
  • Present regular progress reports and maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the design team to resolve any design-related issues that may arise during construction.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and that projects adhere to regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
  • Substantial experience as a Resident Engineer or similar position in the civil engineering industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to solve complex problems and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
