Accessibility Consultant Role

Our organization seeks a skilled Accessibility Consultant to join our specialist team in Dublin. As part of this role, you will support the delivery of Disability Access Certificates, access strategies, and inclusive design solutions across various building types.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with Disability Access Certificate (DAC) applications, access audits, technical design reviews, and BCAR certification processes
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and design teams to integrate accessibility features across project stages
  • Developing inclusive design strategies for diverse building types
  • Ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations and relevant international standards
  • Participating in site inspections and contributing to construction phase reviews
  • Working closely with fire safety, façade, and assigned certifier teams for coordinated project delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a Construction-related discipline
  • Interest in accessibility, inclusive design, and building regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Local knowledge of Dublin's construction industry (desirable)
  • SafePass (or willingness to obtain)
