Afterschool Team Member Job Description

Our childcare organization is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Afterschool Team Member. This role involves working with children in a fun and engaging environment, assisting with daily activities, and building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily activities, ensuring a nurturing environment for the children.
  • Build positive relationships with children, their families, and fellow staff members.
  • Lead and participate in planned activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Support children with their homework.
Requirements:
  • Fluent English speaker
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with children in a professional setting.
  • Garda vetting and reference checks required for child safety.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred but not required).
