We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Galway, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and drive for continuous improvement.

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line and contributing to the success of our high-impact project.

About the Job:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, setup, maintenance, and optimisation of automated equipment.

Your key responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing high-speed automated assembly machines.

Additionally, you will perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Other duties will include assisting in the installation, setup, and refurbishment of equipment.

Accurate maintenance documentation and records will also be maintained.

Effective communication of potential issues affecting capacity and quality to the team leader is essential.

Supporting Process Engineers with continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to efficiency projects through code upgrades and system improvements are also important aspects of this role.

Finally, ensuring performance targets and production deadlines are consistently met is critical.

Requirements:

A Level 5 qualification in engineering or a related field (e.g. electronics, mechanics) is required.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technician in a high-volume, automated environment is also necessary.
