Defend the Cyber World as a Malware Security Specialist

  • Monitor and analyze log data from various security technologies in real-time;
  • Escalate validated security incidents to customers and report them thoroughly;
  • Investigate alerts and validate their severity;
  • Manage and resolve complex customer issues according to established procedures and standard operating protocols;
  • Collaborate with experienced team members to escalate difficult cases and provide expert advice on remediation actions;
  • Prepare detailed incident reports for customers, outlining the threat's characteristics and possible mitigation strategies;
  • Peer review incident reports for quality and accuracy;
  • Maintain knowledge of current cyber threats, tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs);
  • Track customer requests and manage issues efficiently;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed;
  • Support product development teams by providing technical expertise and insights to enhance product offerings;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to share knowledge, research emerging threats, and implement effective solutions;
  • Compile and document observed threat activity for use by intelligence analysts.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant work environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a SOC or MSSP setting is highly desirable;
  • A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat landscapes is crucial;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is necessary.
