**Job Overview**
Amazon is seeking a talented AWS Critical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commissioning of various systems, including HVAC, chilled water systems, building management systems, testing and balancing, pumps and hydronic systems, medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, and electrical power monitoring systems.
You will work closely with vendors, contractors, and other teams to develop and execute test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submittals. You will also provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience directly related to mission-critical facilities or data center infrastructure, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, and certification or training specific to NETA, ASHRAE, or Commissioning specific education courses.
**Responsibilities:**
- Work with vendors, contractors, and other teams to develop and execute test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components.
- Provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects.
- Audit activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
- Report project status and lessons learned to improve program quality.
