Stewarts Care is a leading voluntary organisation providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in Dublin. We support people with diverse needs across residential settings, day services, independent living, job advocacy, and vocational training.
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing person-centred services to young adults between 17.5 and 29.5 years old in North Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with the YAT team to enhance the quality of life for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment, intervention, programme planning, and implementation
- Discharge and onward referrals
- Providing directive, monitoring, and consultative approaches
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Professional Qualifications received outside Ireland must be validated by CORU
- Registered with CORU as an Occupational Therapist
- Membership or eligibility for membership of AOTI
- Minimum three years' post-qualification experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to achieve results through effective collaboration
