Cloud Architect Role

Description of Job Duties
  • You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration of our products and solutions with clients. This involves working closely with architects, technologists, and development teams to provide world-class DevOps environments capable of handling anticipated development loads.
  • The position requires architecting and providing technical direction for cloud/SaaS and on-premises products.

In this role, you will be responsible for researching new technologies, creating and maintaining documentation, providing technical leadership, leading conversations and workshops with stakeholders, designing and delivering solutions, and producing high-quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities Include
  1. Architect and provide technical direction for cloud/SaaS and on-premises products
  2. Develop standards and best practices affecting the development of new and existing products
  3. Review and evaluate new and existing architecture and code to ensure it meets standards
  4. Evangelize the cloud and microservice message and architecture within the organization
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in information technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in both legacy corporate solution architecture approaches and experience pivoting to cloud approach
  • 8+ years of experience managing infrastructure or platform teams
  • 8+ years of application development
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level programming language
  • Experience with internal and external cloud technologies, certifications in Cloud, and track record of application migrations to cloud
  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience
