Job Details:

Our company is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and/or maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Service call-out and repair work on HVAC kits, including diagnosing and resolving issues with equipment and systems.
  • Locate faults in systems and equipment and implement repairs to prevent further damage or downtime.
  • Work on various air conditioning systems, mainly Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin, ensuring that all installations meet safety and quality standards.
  • Respond to emergency customer calls for repairs such as leaks and other problems, providing prompt and effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Detailed knowledge of HVAC techniques, materials, and equipment is essential.
  • Completed apprenticeship in refrigeration and air conditioning.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience supervising or overseeing work, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to understand technical drawings and plans, and to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent practical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, as you'll be dealing with customers regularly.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards, gas regulations, and legal guidelines, with a focus on health and safety best practices.
  • Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience, with opportunities for career progression and professional growth.
  • Plumbing experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
