About the Role

Our team is seeking an innovative and driven Building Physics/Facade Consultant to join our global Façades team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-performance, aesthetically appealing, and durable building envelope solutions for our clients.

As a Building Physics/Facade Consultant at Arup, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop cutting-edge façade design solutions from concept to detailed design and construction. You will be committed to developing your skills in Building Physics, working on complex thermal assessments, solar analysis, dynamic energy modelling, parametric analysis, and Life Cycle Assessments of different typologies of building envelopes.

Your Skills and Experience
  • A degree in mechanical engineering, building/architectural engineering, architectural technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in thermal and solar performance assessments of facades.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: conceptual design, façade detailing, structural analysis, cladding design, structural glass design, building envelope physics, or façade systems.
