Dublin Based Intermediate Mechanical Engineering Position

Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability in all aspects of mechanical engineering services & design, with a third-level diploma/degree in mechanical or building services engineering.
- Technical expertise in mechanical engineering services & design is essential for this role
- The successful candidate will be a practical and adaptable individual with strong communication skills
- 3 years relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment, is preferred
- Knowledge of current CIBSE an Ashrae Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN, and IEC Standards is required
- Proficiency in Hevacomp, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite software is necessary
- Experience of client, vendor, and contractor interaction & management is beneficial
- Proactive individuals with excellent attention to detail and accuracy are highly sought after
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering design and design management tasks on projects as part of an integrated project team are crucial
- Designing and specifying mechanical engineering solutions to current regulations and design standards is essential
Accountability
- Working closely with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions is key
- Developing and agreeing design processes and design deliverables is vital
- Providing technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, and project bid teams is essential
- Offering off-site technical support to construction teams on projects is beneficial
