Nursing Care Lead

Clinical Nurse Managers play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in healthcare settings. In this exciting opportunity, we seek an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our team and drive excellence in resident care.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents. This includes ensuring that all set standards and legislative requirements for resident care are attained and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a dedicated team of nurses and support staff
- Develop and implement policies, programs, and evidence-based practice consistent with HIQA standards and regulations
- Ensure the development and implementation of effective rostering systems
- Supervise nurses and provide guidance and support as needed
The ideal candidate will possess significant management experience, excellent people skills, and thorough knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be proficient in computer skills.
Requirements:- Experience as Clinical Nurse Manager or Assistant Director of Nursing
- 3 years post-registration experience in a nursing home environment
- Significant management experience
- Excellent people skills
- Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Computer Skills
